Welcome to the Michael Dennis Rogers Tribute Fund. I have created this page to help raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Please consider making an online donation or if you prefer you can help me raise money for this Tribute Fund. Michael and I were married for 42 exceptional years. We had two wonderful children and then later, adding to our family, a Daughter-in-law, Son-in-law, six adorable grand children and now an adorable great grand child. Michael was an unselfish special man whose unconditional love for his family knew no bounds. Strong, generous and compassionate, he was the one we all turned to - he was a huge presence in all our lives. He gave so much but thrived on the knowledge that he too was so loved and adored. Michael's other love was music. The house was always filled with his singing. In November 2003 Michael was diagnosed with MND. I thought the world would stop, but Michael didn't want to know or talk about it to anyone else. He just wanted to live as we had always lived, so we did, living one day at a time. I saw MND rob Michael of so many abilities yet he never complained. He fought with great bravery, courage and dignity, never losing his sense of humour. Our children Clinton and Theresa became my right arm and the MND association became my left. I love Michael so very much. Words will never express our love and need for this unique man. The fund is an appropriate way to raise money in Michael's name and a way to pay tribute to such a special man. All money raised on these pages will be earmarked as being donations made via this Tribute Fund when they reach the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
